Metro Ligero Oeste, en virtud del acuerdo de colaboración con OHL y Fundación Adecco, acoge desde este mes la II Edición del huerto solidario. Este año, un grupo de jóvenes voluntarias con discapacidad intelectual    de la Fundación Magdalena de Pozuelo de Alarcón ha trabajado con gran ilusión, durante tres jornadas, plantando frutas y verduras de temporada en las Cocheras de MLO.   

Esta iniciativa de voluntariado medioambiental, dentro del programa ‘Voluntarios Grupo OHL’, une a Metro Ligero Oeste, Fundación Adecco , OHL y el Aula de Educación Ambiental de Pozuelo de Alarcón. Se trata de un esfuerzo compartido de apoyo a las personas con discapacidad y compromiso con la acción social, fomentando el voluntariado y la participación de empleados.

En esta ocasión, Metro Ligero Oeste ha contado con el apoyo especial del Aula de Educación Ambiental de Pozuelo , con sus recursos humanos y materiales, bajo la coordinación de la Fundación Adecco.   

Al igual que la pasada temporada, l os trabajadores voluntarios de MLO se encargarán, de manera organizada y desinteresada, de que la plantación se asiente bien en el terreno y se mantenga en las mejores condiciones.

For the second year running, Metro Ligero Oeste is hosting the Solidarity Orchard, which has begun this month as part of a collaboration agreement with OHL and the Adecco Foundation. This year, a group of young intellectually handicapped volunteers from the Magdalena Foundation in Pozuelo de Alarcón worked enthusiastically for three days, planting seasonal fruit and vegetables at the MLO Depot.

This environmental volunteer initiative, part of the ‘OHL Volunteers Group’ programme, has brought together Metro Ligero Oeste, the Adecco Foundation, OHL and the Pozuelo de Alarcón Environmental Education Workshop, in a joint effort aimed at providing support for handicapped people, fostering commitment to social action, volunteer work and participation by staff members.

This time, Metro Ligero Oeste has received special help from the Pozuelo Environmental Education Workshop and its human and material resources, under the coordination of the Adecco Foundation.

Like last season, MLO's volunteers workers will now take charge of the process and make sure that the plants take root in the soil and grow in the optimum conditions.
